According to Uzhydromet, wind and fog may be observed in Tashkent on January 5. Daytime temperatures will be around +5…+7°, while at night they will drop to -3°. This was reported by kursiv.uz.reports.
No precipitation is expected in the Samarkand, Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions, with temperatures warming to +2…+7°. In the Fergana Valley, daytime temperatures will be similar, but fog may reduce visibility on roads.
In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, temperatures are forecast to range from -2° to +3°. In some parts of the country, wind speeds may increase to up to 12 m/s.
In mountainous areas, the risk of avalanches will remain on January 5. Forecasters said there will be no precipitation in the mountains and temperatures will rise to 3°, and warned of fog and winds strengthening up to 12 m/s.
