January 3 — be prepared for wind and rain!

According to Uzhydromet, unfavorable weather conditions are expected in several regions of Uzbekistan on January 3.

Throughout the day, the weather will be variable. In some regions, rain is expected, which may turn into snow in certain areas. There is a high probability of fog and wind.

• In the Tashkent, Samarkand, Syrdarya, and Jizzakh regions, rain and fog are expected. Wind speeds may increase up to 12 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range from 5 to 10°C.
• In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, the weather will generally be calm but foggy. Daytime temperatures will be 3–8°C, with possible cold conditions at night.
• In the Navoi and Bukhara regions, rain may occur in some areas and could turn into snow. Fog is also possible.
• In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, short-term rain and fog may occur. Daytime temperatures will be 7–12°C.
• In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana, the weather will be relatively calm, but rain is possible on January 3. Daytime temperatures will be 5–10°C.
• In mountainous areas, rain and snow are expected, along with fog and strong winds. Temperatures may range from –2 to +3°C.
