The Syrian Ministry of Internal Affairs has officially denied reports circulating on social media about an assassination attempt on Interim President Ahmad al-Shara.
The Ministry's press secretary, Nuriddin al-Baba, emphasized that this information is unfounded and stated that no emergencies related to the country's president or other high-ranking officials have occurred in recent days. He made a statement about this on his official Facebook page.
"The information being disseminated is completely false and does not correspond to reality. In recent days, there have been no attacks or incidents against the president or other officials," al-Baba wrote.
He also called on citizens and the media to act responsibly and rely only on official information provided by government agencies, without trusting unverified sources.
