Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti is being named as the next serious candidate for the Manchester United managerial post that could become vacant. This is reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to Daily Mail journalist Chris Wheeler, the Red Devils are considering the option of appointing the Italian specialist after the 2026 World Cup ends. This scenario could happen if the club works with an interim coach until the summer and the board cannot find a more suitable candidate than Ancelotti.
Ancelotti signed a contract with the Brazil national team in May 2025. Before that, he managed Real Madrid for four years. Over his career, the experienced coach has also worked at Reggiana, Parma, Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern, Napoli and Everton.
