Thousands of Citizens Fined in Tashkent in 2025 for Waste Incidents
In Tashkent in 2025, thousands of cases related to waste burning and dumping in unauthorized locations were identified, and administrative fines were imposed. This was reported by the Capital’s Department of Ecology and Climate Change.

It is reported that over the past year, 2,744 violations related to dumping various types of waste in unauthorized places were recorded. Administrative reports were issued against violators under the relevant articles of the Administrative Liability Code.

Additionally, 2,750 cases of waste burning and air pollution were identified, and administrative reports were prepared accordingly. According to the department, all cases were carried out under environmental and legal control.

Earlier, it was reported that in Uzbekistan restrictions on electricity payments were applied to more than 200,000 subscribers who owed for waste services.
