Turkey is considering the introduction of electronic work visas for citizens of Uzbekistan. This issue was discussed on October 27 during a meeting in Ankara between the Uzbek delegation and the leadership of the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to Mehmet Oktash, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey, thanks to the efforts of the leaders of both countries, close cooperation has now been established between Uzbekistan and Turkey, especially in the field of internal affairs. The Turkish side also announced that it is considering the possibility of allowing Uzbek citizens who are in Turkey on other types of visas to obtain permission to work without leaving the country.
