On November 24, 2025, 29,000 digital papakhas created by former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov were completely sold out via the Telegram messenger. The auctions began on November 22 and lasted until the evening of the following day.
“Now everyone has the opportunity to gift a papakha to their friend, brother, or coach — it’s a symbol of respect for where you came from and where you’re headed,” Nurmagomedov wrote. The sales were conducted in 290 short rounds of five minutes each.
On average, each papakha cost buyers approximately 10,100 “stars” — equivalent to around 103 Toncoin or about 150 US dollars. Initial estimates suggest that total revenue reached $4.35 million.
These digital gifts are limited-edition products based on the TON network. They can be purchased with “stars” or Toncoin and later sold as NFTs on external platforms.
