On December 3, 2025, Prada fashion house officially announced the acquisition of the Versace brand from Capri Holdings for $1.4 billion. This deal has been approved by regulatory authorities.
Versace has now joined the lineup of luxury brands under Prada Group. The group’s portfolio also includes renowned brands such as Miu Miu, Church’s, and Car Shoe.
According to a statement from Prada Group, the company is engaged in the production and sale of clothing, footwear, and leather goods. Its products are distributed through 620 stores located in more than 70 countries around the world.
Prada, founded in 1913 by Mario Prada, is an Italian fashion house that has become a symbol of luxury. The brand is known for its minimalist silhouettes, innovative materials, and a distinct yet expressive aesthetic.
