New Store for Uzbek Products to Open in Kuwait

A new store for Uzbek products to open in Kuwait

As part of the Uzbek Food Festival, a significant agreement was reached between Uzbekistan and Kuwait’s Uvaro company. According to the agreement, a specialized store focusing exclusively on Uzbek products is planned to open in Kuwait. This was reported by the “Dunyo” news agency.

The event featured participation from more than 20 manufacturers and exporters from Uzbekistan. They presented dried fruits, vegetables, a variety of confectionery products, and national spices to the festival’s attendees. The natural quality, taste, and standards of Uzbek products sparked great interest among representatives of the Kuwaiti market.

During the festival, initial retail orders for Uzbek products were placed through the Sultan Center hypermarket for delivery to Kuwait. Additionally, comprehensive discussions were held with the leadership of Sultan Center and Majdi Food companies about systematically introducing Uzbek products to the Kuwaiti market, improving logistics, and increasing sales volumes.

It was noted that the export of agricultural products from Uzbekistan has grown rapidly in recent years. For example, from January to October 2025, the country exported 1.8 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth $1.7 billion to foreign markets. This figure is nearly 40% higher compared to the same period last year.

According to experts, the opening of a store specializing in Uzbek products in Kuwait will contribute to strengthening the Uzbekistan brand in the Middle Eastern market, expanding export geography, and creating new opportunities for local producers.
