Kyrgyzstan installs a 45-meter flagpole on the border with Uzbekistan

A 45-meter-tall flagpole was installed at the “Dostlik” border checkpoint on Kyrgyzstan’s border with Uzbekistan. The area around the checkpoint was also landscaped. The Osh city administration reported this. This was reported by kursiv.uz.reports.

It is noted that the project was implemented on the initiative of Osh Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev. On Monday, the national flag of Kyrgyzstan was raised on the flagpole.

The ceremony was attended by the city head, Chairman of the City Council Bolot Baetov, deputies, and consuls of neighboring countries. According to the municipality, work to put the border checkpoint’s infrastructure in order was also carried out as part of the event.
