In the city of Inje, Gangwon Province, South Korea, on September 21–26, at prestigious international competitions, Uzbek military personnel outperformed all rivals and achieved a well-deserved victory. This was officially reported by the Ministry of Defense.
At the Scientific Combat Training Center of the Land Forces, the third International Scientific-Combat Training Competition was organized, in which, in addition to Korea, the USA, New Zealand, Cambodia, and the NATO joint group, a total of 16 teams and about 500 servicemen took part.
The competition program was very diverse: first, each team developed an operational plan, fulfilled obligations under national agreements, and strengthened the skills necessary for joint operations of units. Then, through drawing lots, the main stages began.
According to the rules of the competition, participants went through 12-stage tests in pre-mountain, forest, and urban conditions using conditional combat simulations. At each stage, such indicators as compliance of actions with the tactical situation, observance of combat rules, destruction of the conditional enemy, and the level of survival were thoroughly analyzed.
Uzbek military personnel particularly distinguished themselves in these contests with their skill and speed. To capture the main command post of the conditional enemy, they needed only 21 minutes. This result surpassed the previous competition record of 33 minutes. In addition, to destroy enemy forces in defense, 25 minutes were enough, which was also significantly better than the previous record (29 minutes).
Experts note that such a result of the Uzbek military is not only the fruit of high training and discipline but also demonstrates that they are forming as a competitive force of global level.
Thus, the competition in Korea not only further raised the honor of the Uzbek army but also showed how strongly the national military school is developing in modern directions.
