In the period from January to September 2025, 28,600 American citizens visited Uzbekistan. This represents a 22.4% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The majority of visiting Americans, 23,600 people, arrived as tourists. Additionally, 2,400 citizens visited for work-related purposes, while 2,100 came to see relatives.
It should be noted that starting early next year, a 30-day visa-free regime for U.S. citizens will be implemented. This decision has been made to promote trade, culture, and tourism between the two countries.
