A citizen, X.I., who was the head of a construction firm, was found guilty under Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan for embezzling funds allocated from the state budget for school repairs. By a ruling of the Bukhara regional court on October 17, 2025, a criminal fine of 90 million soums was imposed on X.I.
A writ of execution to recover the fine was filed with the Tortkol District Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau, and enforcement actions were initiated by the department's state officers.
Specifically, the state officer from the department imposed a lien on the identified vehicle and real estate belonging to the debtor.
As a result, the debtor paid the 90 million soum criminal fine on December 16 of this year.
