In Uzbekistan, the use of coal boiler houses operating without filters will be stopped, and they will be relocated outside the capital. This was announced by Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his address to the Oliy Majlis. According to the President, around 2,000 greenhouses in Tashkent city and Tashkent region are currently heated using coal and gas. To support modernization, agro-clusters with an area of at least 200 hectares will be established. Greenhouses included in these clusters will be able to receive separate subsidies. The head of state also emphasized the importance of environmental protection, rational use of water resources, and the development of “green” energy. A $100 million credit line will be allocated for large enterprises to install air-emission monitoring stations, treatment facilities, and filters. Read “Zamin” on Telegram! Ctrl
