Pellegrini could be sidelined for a long time

One of the leaders of Italy’s Roma picked up an injury on December 24, on the eve of Catholic Christmas, during a routine training session. According to Sky Sport, what looked like a harmless strain could keep the player out for quite a long time. Pellegrini may only return to action in a month. He will definitely miss the upcoming matches of Gian Piero Gasperini’s team. On Monday the team face Genoa, then in the first week of the new year they will play two consecutive Serie A matches: first against Atalanta and then versus Lecce.
