During his visit to the Syrdarya region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the victims of a gas cylinder explosion in Gulistan. The injured are currently receiving treatment at the regional branch of the Republican Scientific Medical Center.
The President spoke with the victims and their families. Extending his condolences to the families of the deceased, he emphasized the importance of providing them with financial support.
The center’s management and doctors briefed the President on the condition of the patients and the treatment process. Responsible organizations were instructed to investigate the causes of the incident and take measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
It should be noted that the gas cylinder explosion in Gulistan occurred at the beginning of December. As a result, three people lost their lives.
A criminal case has been initiated by law enforcement authorities, and one person has been detained in connection with the incident.
