President Allocates Aid to Families of Gulistan Tragedy Victims

The President allocated assistance to the families of the Gulistan tragedy victims
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his deep condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the gas cylinder explosion in Gulistan during an extraordinary session of the Sirdaryo Region Council of People's Deputies. He instructed that financial assistance be provided to the affected families. Each family will receive 100 million soums, and these funds must be delivered within three days.

It should be recalled that a gas cylinder explosion occurred in Gulistan on December 2. The incident injured 29 people, three of whom lost their lives.

Law enforcement agencies have initiated a criminal case regarding the incident, and one person has been detained. On December 4, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev personally visited the victims of the explosion during his visit to Sirdaryo.
