
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his condolences on the passing of renowned scholar Azmiddin Sadriddinov. This was announced on the official website of the head of state.
Additionally, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, Senate Chairwoman Tanzila Narbayeva, and other officials also extended their sympathies. Azmiddin Sadriddinov was born on June 26, 1936, in Tashkent.
He graduated from the capital’s Institute of Light Industry. After completing his studies, he began his career at the Central Asian Polytechnic Institute (currently Tashkent State Technical University).
The scholar worked at Tashkent State Technical University for many years, advancing from an ordinary lecturer to the position of first vice-rector. His contributions to science were significant and focused on training specialists for the agricultural sector, developing scientific research related to the mechanization of agriculture, and implementing these into practice.
Azmiddin Sadriddinov was awarded the honorary title of "Uzbekistan Agricultural Mechanization Specialist" for his services in developing agricultural machinery. He was also a recipient of the "Friendship" and "Labor Glory" orders.
