The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced that all payment services provided through the Humans app by the Octogram company (under the Paylov brand) have been suspended as of December 9. The day before, users had reported issues with withdrawing funds via the Humans platform.
The Central Bank immediately contacted Octogram and ordered the suspension of p2p operations to address potential security concerns and eliminate possible technical vulnerabilities. However, other transactions carried out with Uzcard and Humo cards, including their use through other banking apps, are continuing as usual.
The Central Bank reported that it has initiated rapid inspections: all suspicious transactions, technical processes, and interactions between platforms are being thoroughly investigated. The results of the inspections will be made public.
Additionally, the Central Bank has recommended that citizens contact law enforcement authorities if necessary.
