
Mortgage Bank OTP Group has been recognized as "Bank of the Year in Uzbekistan for 2025" by the international publication, The Banker. This award is considered one of the most prestigious in the finance industry, awarded annually to banks that demonstrate financial stability, technological advancement, and significant contributions to societal development.

The Banker highlighted three key areas of success in Mortgage Bank OTP Group's transformation:
— Enhancement of retail business quality;
— Modernization of corporate banking services;
— Development of digital infrastructure.
Mortgage Bank OTP Group became the first bank in the country to offer bank insurance services.
Through a pilot product for loan insurance launched in November 2024, microloans totaling 152.6 billion soums were issued, with 62% of customers utilizing insurance services. Additionally, the bank successfully implemented broad upgrades to its technological infrastructure.
Mortgage Bank OTP Group launched a new central data center, introduced a modern data warehouse, and began a core banking system modernization project. Earlier, Mortgage Bank OTP Group announced its financial results for the first nine months of 2025.
The bank's net profit amounted to 1.195 trillion soums, with a return on equity (ROE) reaching 20.4%. This reflects the bank's performance and success in effectively executing its transformation strategy.
The "Bank of the Year" award is one of the leading international accolades presented by The Banker, which is part of the Financial Times group. Each year, banks from more than 120 countries are evaluated based on financial results, development strategies, innovations, and social initiatives.
The Banker award is a benchmark that confirms a bank's leadership position in its country or region.
