Methane "stations" will operate only 6 hours on December 22

On December 22, 2025, all methane fuel stations in Uzbekistan will operate as per their usual working schedule from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This announcement was made by the Ministry of Energy.

As a reminder, restrictions on the operation of methane filling stations were introduced starting December 11. These restrictions were linked to a gas shortage caused by issues in a neighboring country.

The Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, had disclosed this information; however, the specific country involved was not mentioned. During this period, the most challenging situation was observed in the Fergana Valley, where gas pressure reached its lowest levels.
