Student from Fergana accepted to Harvard with full scholarship

Dilafruz Sobirova, an 11th-grade student of the Presidential School in Fergana city, has been admitted to one of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions — Harvard University. The most exciting part is that she has won a 100 percent scholarship for four years of study.

The young talented student scored 1540 points on the international SAT exam and 8.0 on the IELTS exam, achieving high results at the international level. In addition, she is the winner of the regional English language Olympiad and holds a B2 level in German.

Dilafruz has not limited herself to academics alone. She served as the leader of the eco-committee, participated in international competitions and conferences, and demonstrated her potential in projects associated with UNESCO and Harvard. The “EcoHelp” application developed within the “Digital Generation Girls” initiative shows that she is not indifferent to social issues.

This achievement is a clear example of the harmony between hard work, determination, and opportunity. Today, another new name has joined the ranks of Uzbek youth studying at Harvard. Tomorrow, such news will undoubtedly become even more frequent. Because where there is talent, there is also success.
