A tragic accident occurred in the Sergeli district of Tashkent city. A 37-year-old driver who became trapped between two buses died at the scene.
According to available information, the incident took place on December 20 at around 4:56 p.m. on Khonobod Street, near a railway crossing. At the moment when a bus operating on route No. 55 stopped due to a passing train, the driver of the second bus behind it exited the vehicle without engaging the handbrake.
As a result, the bus moved forward by inertia and crushed the driver between the two buses. Unfortunately, he died at the scene from severe bodily injuries.
According to preliminary data, the incident occurred due to negligence. An investigation is currently being conducted by the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs.
