Zakharyan missed his first training session under the new coach

Real Sociedad midfielder Arsen Zakharyan did not take part in the club’s first training session under new head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the 22-year-old Russian footballer did not train with the main group due to the flu. The attacking midfielder worked individually in the gym instead of taking part in the team session. The club expects Zakharyan to return to training with the squad on December 30.

Zakharyan joined Real Sociedad from Moscow’s Dynamo in the summer of 2023 for €13 million. His contract runs until June 30, 2029. This season he has made 14 appearances in all competitions and scored 1 goal.
