Citizens who report corruption will be granted protection orders

Uzbekistan will introduce the issuance of protection orders to citizens who report corruption cases. The Ministry of Justice announced this, citing a decree by the head of state.
The document also notes that a special badge has been established to encourage citizens who assist in preventing corruption and fighting it.
In addition, from 1 July this year, the “Digital Compliance” information and software system will be launched on a pilot basis. It предусматривает moving internal control processes to a digital format via the E-Compliance module.
Internal control units of central government bodies will be granted authority to issue mandatory instructions to be reviewed for preventing violations, as well as to demand the elimination of identified shortcomings.
