Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs reported that a man suspected of committing inappropriate acts against a woman near the Farhod market has been detained.
The incident occurred on January 6 at 6:50 p.m. on Lutfiy Street in Uchtepa District. According to law enforcement, the suspect committed indecent acts against a 27-year-old woman and fled the scene.
Later, DIA officers identified the suspect and detained him. A pre-investigation inquiry has been launched at the Uchtepa District internal affairs department.
The DIA asked citizens who may have suffered from this man’s actions to call 71 231-95-20 or the short number 102.
