Anti-corruption measures to affect Uzbek officials’ bonus payments

In Uzbekistan, as part of the fight against corruption, mandatory certification of the management system will be introduced starting July 1, 2026. According to the Ministry of Justice, this process will be phased in through 2030.
The new procedure strengthens personal accountability for managers. If the system is not fully implemented within the установленный timeframe, bonus payments to the director and their deputies will be temporarily suspended until certification is obtained.
First, organizations that received an “unsatisfactory” rating in the efficiency ranking will undergo certification.
A unified monitoring network is also planned to be launched in the country. It will connect the Anti-Corruption Agency, law enforcement bodies, and the public, enabling rapid exchange of information about violations.
