Now you can fix registration errors online for free starting March 1st

Believe me, having a "foreign residence permit" stuck in your house or errors in address information is a classic problem that irritates many people. Now, this scenario of "repeatedly going to the police station" is gradually becoming history.
Starting March 1, 2026, citizens will have the opportunity to correct errors in their registration data online. This procedure is being introduced by a government decree signed on January 30.
According to the new procedure, through the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services:
- verify information about persons registered at your home address;
- correction of incorrectly entered data;
- address-related errors can be quickly eliminated.
Most importantly, you don't need to personally visit the internal affairs bodies, wait in line, and pass the "now to that office" quest. Yes, it protects the nerves.
Inspections are not arbitrary: appeals are automatically reviewed through state information systems. In particular, the "Manzil" information system, databases of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, court decisions, mahalla data, the Unified Electronic Archive of the Civil Registry Office, and cadastral information will be interconnected. Therefore, in most cases, the request is resolved in real time, and in some cases, a response is given within one business day.
The service is free. At the end, the citizen is provided with a Registration Sheet with a QR code or a certificate of persons registered at the address.
The conclusion is simple: if someone wants to know exactly who is registered at home - now they can do this with a smartphone too. When paperwork decreases, air enters life, and nerves also say thank you.
