Hyundai company unveils Ioniq V sedan in Cybertruck style in Beijing

South Korean company Hyundai has unveiled a new Ioniq V electric sedan at the Beijing auto show, designed only for the Chinese market. The model differs fundamentally from the brand’s cars in other markets and showcases the company’s new design direction called Origin. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports.

The electric car stands out for its distinctive sharp-edged and angular design, which many associate with the Tesla Cybertruck style. The car is 4,900 mm long, and the wheelbase is 2,900 mm, placing it close to the Ioniq 6 by these figures.

The cabin features a 27-inch panoramic 4K display, a head-up display and audio equipment with a Dolby Atmos system. Technically, the new model is built on an 800-volt platform, which allows faster charging.

It is reported that a single full charge allows the car to travel more than 600 kilometers.

Hyundai’s management sees the Chinese market not only as a testing ground, but also as a base for global expansion. The company plans to launch 20 new models in the country over the next five years, including fully electric and hybrid vehicles.
