The Statistics Agency has released preliminary data on the poultry population in Uzbekistan as of January 1, 2025.
According to the report, the total number of poultry in the country has reached 106.6 million, marking a 3.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Among the regions, Tashkent region ranks first with 17.7 million birds. Samarkand region follows in second place with 15.5 million, while Andijan region takes third place with 11 million.

Tashkent region – 17.7 million
Samarkand region – 15.5 million
Andijan region – 11 million
Fergana region – 8.9 million
Bukhara region – 8.2 million
Namangan region – 7.3 million
Khorezm region – 7.2 million
Kashkadarya region – 6.9 million
Surkhandarya region – 5.5 million
Republic of Karakalpakstan – 5.4 million
Syrdarya region – 5.1 million
Jizzakh region – 4 million
Navoi region – 3.6 million
The growth in poultry numbers is attributed to the expansion of poultry farms and the increased production of meat and eggs. The government actively supports farmers by providing subsidies and preferential loans.
