On August 19, the Russian armed forces once again carried out an attack on Ukrainian territory using drones. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its official Telegram channel.
According to local sources, during this attack, security measures were strengthened in a number of major Ukrainian cities. In particular, warnings of missile threats were announced in the regions of Kherson, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Sumy.
It should be noted that this time, along with drone strikes, Russian troops also used the multiple rocket launch system "Smerch." This indicated an expansion of the scale of the attack and an increase in the level of threat.
So far, no official information has been released about casualties or the injured. However, analysts believe that such attacks could further aggravate the overall military-political situation in Ukraine.
Ukrainian authorities, in turn, are urging the population to remain vigilant and to move to designated shelters during air raid alerts. Defense agencies continue to take new measures to counter such strikes.
