Khushnud Khudoiberdiyev: "The number of applicants who received grants has increased with 189 points"

Famous lawyer and blogger Khushnud Khudoiberdiyev shared new information about the admission process for the 2025-2026 academic year. He emphasized that all applicants who scored the maximum points in the entrance exams this year were accepted for state scholarships.

According to this year’s test results, all applicants who scored 189 points were accepted with a state grant. Khudoiberdiyev explained this during a live broadcast, saying: "Many were worried that with 189 points they wouldn’t be able to get a contract, but I clarified that all those who scored 189 points would definitely get a grant."

Based on the test results, it is clear that for all applicants who scored 189 points, spots were allocated for state grants at universities. For example, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, all 140 applicants who scored 189 points were granted scholarships.

The results of this year’s admission process indicate that the opportunities for state grant-based education in Uzbekistan's higher education system have greatly expanded, and a more transparent and clear decision-making process has been established for applicants. Achieving the maximum points is becoming a crucial factor for getting a grant.

According to the lawyer, further organizational and legal mechanisms should be improved to support applicants in obtaining state grants.
