153.6 billion subsidy for solar panels
Uzbek citizens received 153.6 billion soums in subsidies for installing solar panels over the first nine months of this year, the Tax Committee reported. The funds were allocated from the state budget.

By the beginning of October, the largest amount of subsidy was received by the residents of the Khorezm region—42.6 billion soums. Karakalpakstan received 22.4 billion soums, while the Bukhara region received 15.3 billion soums in subsidies.

According to the Committee’s data, in Tashkent city this figure was 10.7 billion soums, and 8.2 billion soums in the capital region. It should be noted that since April 2023, households with solar panels have had the opportunity to receive one thousand soums from the budget for every kWh of energy produced above the set norm.

Citizens who received the subsidy can transfer the funds to their cards via the Tax mobile app (Android/iOS) by using the "Transfer to card" function in the "Sunny Home" section.
