Uzgidromet announced the weather forecast expected on January 23 According to it across the republic the influence of moist and cold air masses will remain and in some areas snow fog and road ice may be observed
In the city of Tashkent the weather will be changeable At night and in the morning snow may fall fog may occur During the day precipitation is not expected however in some places the roads may be slippery The wind will blow from the northeast at a speed of 3–8 m s The temperature at night and during the day will be around 1–3 degrees below zero
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan at night and in the morning snow will fall in some places fog may occur The wind from the northeast 7–12 m s The temperature at night will be 10–15 degrees below zero during the day 0–5 degrees below zero In Ustyurt at night up to 15–20 degrees below zero during the day 3–8 degrees below zero is said to remain

Forecasters also reminded that on January 22–24 across the republic precipitation mainly in the form of snow is expected and in some places the wind speed will increase to 15–20 m s and in some areas it may reach 22–25 m s Because there is a risk of avalanches in mountainous areas on January 22–26 drivers and travelers are asked to be careful
