Uzbekistan takes military cooperation with Turkey to a new level

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held another important meeting regarding the development of the country's defense system and efforts to expand international partnership. Defense Minister Shuhrat Kholmukhamedov presented a detailed report on measures aimed at strengthening military cooperation with Turkey.
A high-ranking representative of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey also participated in the meeting. This indicates that military ties between the two countries are actively developing not only officially but also practically.
During the negotiations, issues of implementing agreements reached at the highest level were discussed. In particular, special attention was paid to further strengthening cooperation between the defense agencies of the two countries, increasing mutual trust, and deepening strategic partnership.
As noted, military-technical cooperation has been developing consistently and steadily recently. Inter-agency relations are expanding, and joint training exercises, practical events, and experience exchange are regularly organized. At the same time, effective work is being carried out in the training of military personnel and the improvement of specialists' qualifications.
The head of state emphasized the importance of further intensifying work in this area and forming a strong and effective defense system capable of responding to modern threats. A firm stance was expressed on further expanding military cooperation and taking it to a qualitatively new level.
Overall, military cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey holds strategic importance, not only strengthening bilateral relations but also serving as a crucial factor in ensuring security and stability in the region.
