On April 23, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Bog‘imaydon mahalla in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent to review the large-scale construction and improvement projects implemented there. This visit demonstrated the tangible results of reforms aimed at the comprehensive development of local neighborhoods and the creation of decent living conditions for residents.

Established in 1987, this neighborhood currently consists of 41 multi-story buildings and 1,990 apartments, home to nearly 5,500 residents. As a result of landscaping and modernization work carried out in recent years, the area has been transformed into a modern and comfortable residential space.

Extensive opportunities have been created for residents, particularly for youth and children. The area features 20 children's playgrounds, 11 workout zones, 3 mini-football fields, and a tennis court. Additionally, two pre-school education institutions accommodating nearly 500 children highlight the significant focus on education and upbringing within the mahalla.

Boosting economic activity and ensuring employment is also a priority. Currently, more than 70 business entities operate in the area. Positive results are also being seen in youth employment, with 949 out of 1,048 young people successfully employed, reflecting effective efforts in this direction.

An eco-park established in 2022 has become a popular leisure spot for residents to spend time in nature. Furthermore, the "Nuroniy Maskani" (Elders' Center) plays a vital role in community life, ensuring the active participation of the older generation.

Modern security solutions implemented in the mahalla were also presented to the President. Specifically, residential entrances are equipped with video surveillance systems and security consoles. Movement of pedestrians and vehicles is constantly monitored through modern digital technologies, which serves to further strengthen the peace and safety of the residents.

While inspecting the conditions created for the local community, the Head of State engaged in a sincere dialogue with mahalla activists and elders. He emphasized that a well-maintained and prosperous neighborhood is a strong pillar of society, noting that maintaining peace, harmony, and social solidarity remains a top priority.

During the visit, the President also participated in the Sumalak festival being held in the neighborhood. He spoke warmly with residents, particularly youth and children, emphasizing the importance of preserving national values and strengthening the bond between generations.

In a meeting with young athletes at the sports facility, the President highlighted the crucial role of physical education and a healthy lifestyle in personal development. He encouraged the youth to be active, participate in sports, and choose a healthy way of life.

Overall, the work being carried out in Bog‘imaydon serves as a clear example of the effectiveness of reforms aimed at improving the urban environment, increasing public welfare, and establishing modern living standards.
