This decision is reportedly not accidental. The primary reason is serious disagreements with head coach Gian Piero Gasperini. The two sides have failed to agree on transfer policy: the coach has been dissatisfied with the squad's quality, while Ranieri has maintained that all decisions were pre-agreed.
These conflicts have intensified during the crucial stage of the season. The team's inconsistent results and unexpected point losses in some matches have further increased the pressure within the club. As a result, the clash of opinions within the club has turned into open conflict.
