Silver Production Declining in Kazakhstan

According to the annual analysis of the global market presented by the Metals Focus analytical center, silver production in Kazakhstan is expected to decrease by 0.6 million ounces by 2025. This decline in Kazakhstan is attributed to various changes observed in the global production of this precious metal.

According to Metals Focus data, global production in 2025 is projected to remain around 813 million ounces. This is because growth in some regions will offset declines in others.

The largest growth is expected in countries like Mexico (+5.3 million ounces), Russia (+4.5 million ounces), Morocco (+3 million ounces), and Canada (+1.5 million ounces). Additionally, slight growth is forecasted in the United States and Chile.

However, significant declines are anticipated in countries such as Indonesia (–5.7 million ounces), Peru (–5.1 million ounces), Argentina (–2.9 million ounces), and Bolivia (–1.6 million ounces). Australia is also expected to see a decrease of 0.9 million ounces.

Analysts emphasized that the reduction in production in South America, Australia, and Indonesia will be compensated by growth in North America and Russia, resulting in global production levels remaining stable.
