After complaints from buyers, the Committee for the Development of Competition inspected more than 60 car dealerships in Uzbekistan. Since the beginning of the year, over 350 appeals related to car purchases have been received.
As a result of the inspections, it was found that five dealerships did not have service centers, and in 39 dealerships, car operation manuals were not available in Uzbek. In addition, in some cases, the warranty period for spare parts was shorter than the general warranty period of the car.
The Committee stated it will oblige manufacturers to provide maintenance for cars during the warranty period and demanded the elimination of violations. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
