Eduard Mor Safonov Achievement Ranked Among Top 3 in Russian Football

Former defender of Moscow's "Spartak," Eduard Mor, highlighted that it is difficult to immediately grasp the scale of Matvey Safonov's achievement in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final. The Russian goalkeeper saved four consecutive penalty kicks in the match against "Flamengo," securing the trophy for his team.

"This ranks among the three most important achievements of our football players abroad: Alenichev's goals in European competition finals, Andrey Arshavin's quartet, and Safonov's incredible adventure," Mor stated during a broadcast on "Match TV."
