Fake discounts have been banned

The government of Uzbekistan has prohibited price increases before announcing discounts. These new rules are aimed at protecting consumer rights and promoting fair competition. Within the framework of the document, the following obligations have been imposed on stores and retail chains: actions that mislead customers are not allowed. Artificially showing a high "old price" or offering discounts on products that do not correspond to the announced terms is strictly prohibited. Oversight of compliance with the new rules has been assigned to the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
