Builders reminded to prevent air pollution

The National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change of Uzbekistan has issued an official notice to all construction companies, emphasizing that compliance with air protection requirements at construction sites is mandatory. The committee reminded that, according to the law, builders must prevent the raising of dust and sand during construction activities.

Additionally, companies are required to install overhead sprinklers and irrigation systems at entry and exit points of construction sites. Other requirements include washing vehicle wheels and fencing off construction areas.

The committee warned that non-compliance with these regulations would result in fines and other administrative measures. In certain cases, companies may face suspension of operations for up to ten working days or complete termination of activities.
