Prayers for Rain to Be Held in Uzbekistan's Mosques
In Uzbekistan, on November 28, following Friday prayers, collective prayers known as "istisqa"—prayers asking for rain from Allah—will be conducted in all mosques. This was reported by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.

This decision was made due to the prolonged autumn drought and the absence of expected rainfall. According to the board, praying for rain has deep roots in Islamic traditions.

Additionally, sacrifices will be made at central mosques and sacred sites in the regions and districts. The meat from the sacrifices will be distributed to families in need, orphaned children, widows, low-income individuals, and elderly people living alone.

Furthermore, Uzbek citizens currently in Mecca and Medina are also encouraged to perform the "istisqa" prayer at sacred sites with their groups.
