The Tashkent city administration has announced guidelines for obtaining permits to install outdoor advertising. The document will only be processed online via the my.gov.uz portal.
If the advertisement is to be installed on private property, the applicant must upload the design sketch, documents confirming ownership rights of the property, and photographs of the location where the advertisement will be installed. Such applications will be reviewed within 15 working days.
For advertisements placed on vehicles, design sketches for all four sides of the vehicle and the vehicle registration certificate details are required. In this case, the application processing time is five working days.
The state fee is equivalent to one base calculation amount, which is 412,000 soums. Additional fees are set for advertisements larger than one square meter and for vehicle advertisements.
The fee amount varies depending on the zone where the advertisement is located and its economic category. Installing advertisements without a permit is considered a violation of the law and is subject to fines.
