In Gurlan, action taken against a citizen who failed to pay 132 million soums in child support
Based on a court order of the Urgench inter-district civil court, an enforcement document to recover child support from debtor M.S. in favor of claimant Sh.E. for the maintenance of one minor child was received by the Gurlan district department of the Bureau, and enforcement actions were initiated.
Since debtor M.S. was outside the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, he had been on the wanted list for 5 years.
As a result of search operations carried out by officers of the search unit, debtor M.S. was found and the collected documents were submitted to the court.
With regard to debtor M.S., who had been evading payment of 132 million soums in child support arrears for his child, the Gurlan district criminal court’s decision dated 15.01.2026 imposed a penalty of 15 days of administrative arrest.
