Kazakh company acquires beverage producer in Uzbekistan

The Antimonopoly Committee of Uzbekistan has granted permission to RG Brands South, a limited liability company, to acquire Southhub. This was reported by the committee's press service.

Analysis determined that the transaction would not impact market competition conditions. Southhub was established in September 2023 in the city of Yangiyul.

The company specializes in the production of non-alcoholic beverages. Its founder is the Master Global Plus company, which has a charter capital of 100 billion soums.

Southhub owns the lemonade-producing brand Cool Line and the antiseptic products brand Carelux. Co-founders of the company include Maksud Fayzullayev, Nilufar Khodjayeva, Habibullo Khasanov, and Bobir Karimov.

RG Brands South, on the other hand, was established in 2021 and is fully owned by RG Brands Holding. The company is engaged in the wholesale trade of food products and has a charter capital of 23.12 billion soums.
