"Moyka" thieves stole a customer's car in Tashkent

In Tashkent, in the Sergeli district, workers at a car wash stole a Tracker brand car from a customer. They rushed onto the road and were pursued by road patrol officers. While attempting to escape, they crashed into a pole and caused a road traffic accident. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of Tashkent.

It is reported that on the road in the Chilonzor district, they began to flee from the patrol officers while moving at high speed. Later, a road traffic accident occurred in the Yakkasaray district, and the witnesses of the incident fled.

It was found during a technical check that one of the drivers did not have a driver's license. During the investigation, they fled to Samarkand, but their identities were clarified, and they were detained. They are now being transferred to the investigative department of the Sergeli district.

In addition, in connection with the criminal case, a case has been initiated against the two individuals under Article 267, Part 2, "b" of the Criminal Code (car theft by an organized group). They have been chosen for preventive detention in the form of arrest. Investigative actions are ongoing.
