In Uzbekistan, two schools that achieved the best results in artificial intelligence (AI) will be awarded an electric car following the results of a special competition. This is stated in a government resolution on developing the IT sector in the country. Kursiv.uz reports.reports.
As part of the “Five Million Leaders in Artificial Intelligence” project, the competition will also reward talented students and teachers who have demonstrated high performance, alongside the schools. In particular, the top 10 mentors will get the opportunity to vacation abroad, and another 100 teachers are expected to receive prize money of up to $1,000.
Valuable gifts for students are also planned — laptops and other prizes. The Ministry of Digital Technologies and other responsible agencies will oversee the competition and ensure a transparent participant selection process.
The document notes that the initiative to train five million AI leaders will be implemented as a logical continuation of the “One Million Programmers” program.
