Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for January 1–8. According to the report, weather in most regions is expected to be variable, with partial precipitation and fog in some areas.
In Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Tashkent, Samarkand, Syrdarya, and Jizzakh regions, the weather will mostly be dry, though on January 3–4 rain and snow may occur in some areas. Wind speed will range from 7–12 m/s, occasionally reaching up to 18 m/s.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, light rain is possible on January 1 and 3. In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather is expected to be calm between January 2 and 5–8; on other days, rain may occur. In mountainous areas, occasional rain and snow, along with fog and winds, are expected.
Temperatures will vary between –2 and +15 degrees Celsius.
