Analysts from Bloomberg agency have rated Nvidia shares as some of the most influential in the history of the US stock market. The company set an unprecedented record — for the first time, its market value reached $5 trillion.
Now Nvidia’s total value is higher than the combined capitalization of 6 out of 11 sectors of the S&P 500 index and has surpassed the stock markets of most countries. The company makes up 8.5 percent of the index—a share larger than the combined share of the 240 smallest companies in the index.
The rapid growth of Nvidia shares is linked to major investments in the development of artificial intelligence. IT giants such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta plan to increase capital expenditures by about 34 percent within the next year, reaching $440 billion.
A large portion of these funds will be directed specifically toward artificial intelligence technologies. According to forecasts, Nvidia's revenue may reach $285 billion in the next fiscal year.
